An stock SRT dodge VS a stock lightning. The dodge would never beat a lightning stock vs stock they weigh 800 lbs more for one.As far as dodge claims to be the fastest production p-up,its the top end speed that got them famous. The tunes on my L. would run just as fast, but have to keep the timing stock and use a cold tune for high speed runs.I have driven one and they are fun to drive.Heres a good video i have in my favorites YouTube - Lightning vs SRT-10 Dodge viper
I'm not sure exactly how much more they weigh (although I'm pretty sure it's not 800lbs), but the SRT10 has a lot more power to play w/ and is easier to hook. But it's not like it matters, there's not too amny stock Lightnings, and morevoer, trucks weren't made to race......

750lbs to be exact Lightning 4750,dodge 5500.The 500 H.P. isnt rear wheel either. As far as racing tell me that next time you line up with a pullied Lightning. They hook up well, they are actually better in the 1/8 mile.
3. I said "trucks weren't made to race", and they're not.
4. I've driven Lightnings, and they really don't hook up that well.
I have to disagree, the lightnings were made to DRAG race chief.Best in the 1/8 and fast in the 1/4.They where also made to humiliate people like you on the street. As far as what you said i dont care.
Heck ill humor ya one more time, its a MYTH that lightnings dont hook up.Ya just got to know what tires to run.Nitto 555DR's do a fine job,i run the 555's on the GTO too.I am done with this thread.
The goat is not to bad for being all motor the cabra and the lighting are supercharged supercharge a ls2 it will be game over for both of them
Yep,i sure would like to see a Kenne Bell /Whipple on a GTO.Best start guttin the motor and puttin some forged parts in .YouTube - Blown Up Chevy Engine SVT's are forged and ready to go.One of my next mods is a 2.3 Kenne Bell on the L.

They didn't do a very good job then, cause I had no problem w/ them in my Z. And I won't get started what I'd do them on a road course. Nice try, though......

You're just provin my point even further. DR's are NOT stock, genius.......

Stock Eagle F1'S will hook up better than anything you got.Your ZZZZZZZZZZZ Thats funny ****.wether it be LS1 Junk or a Nissan Z You'll Looooz.Ypu seem like a ricer so ill give ya this YouTube - ricers suck No what ever U got Ill beat it!!! YouTube - Stupid ricers
Wow, you just don't know when to quit do you??? 3.91's, cai, intake plenum and spacer, and exhaust do the trick against those heavy, unaerodynamic, traction-challenged pigs. But nice try. And I assure you a Lightning does not hook better than my awd Audi, lol. But again, nice try. And I'm a ricer because I used to own a 350Z??? Haha, you're the one who sounds like a ricer w/ your meager attempts at defending your ride when being called out. No matter what I got, you'll beat it??? Ha, so do you regularly beat up on 600cc sportbikes, then???
