Afternoon....

My name is Michael, I live in Tennessee, and work for a automotive supplier of Nissan. I've had my 06 since the end of November 06. I got it on the red tag clearance event, and feel I got a fairly sweet deal on the car. I've managed to keep the mileage low, and intend to continue doing so. Don't get me wrong I love driving it. The sound of the exhaust, the knowledge that if I down shift and get on the accelerator the car will launch. Heck, most of the time when I drive it I don't even have the radio on. I just listen to the exhaust and smile. Most of my neighbors must think I'm a little loopy, riding around town with that silly grin plastered on my face. I never drive it to work for fear that some moron would accidentally scratch the paint. When I do go anywhere in it I park as far away from everything as possible and walk. My wife gives me a hard time about that and the fact that I wash it after nearly every drive. Obsess much?

I owned one other Pontiac when I was younger (too young in fact). A 1977 black Trans Am. That thing would absolutely fly however, my goat would chew it up and spit it out without much worry at all. Don't get me wrong, as a dumb kid with too much horsepower at hand I loved that TA, but the difference between the technology and manual six speed in my goat, not to mention the horsepower would have made a head to head competition moot.

Well , I've rambled on long enough. Hope to hear from ya'll soon.

Michael

Welcome Mike
I like your attitude with your GTO. It will give much pleasure with the care you give it. I wash mine alot but not everytime after I take her out.
You may be even more obsessive than me

Well, not every drive. I don't want it dirty when I put the cover on. Would ruin the paint.
