Greetings from a GTO fan and Chevelle owner

Hello, I currently own a fully restored 1972 Chevelle Malibu. While the 1970 SS is my favorite year Chevelle, I certainly dig my 1972.

I have been thinking of getting another muscle car, and have always loved the GTO. I am here to read and learn and hopefully decide on a year/find a good purchase. A friend of mine has a 66/67 Tempest tri-power... Always liked the vertical headlights... But then again a 69-70 Judge (or good clone) has an aggressive look that I like too...

Welcome to the forum, Matt. The '68 - '72 will have a very similar look to your Chevelle. Whereas the '65-'67 would look completely different. I guess the question is, do you want to change it up or not.......

I agree on the older generation and the different look. Like I said, my buddy's 66 Tempest was pretty cool... I've always liked the fast back style though... The hood on the older GTO is really nice, but I think I'll be looking for a '69 Judge....
