Hello to all...

Hello everyone,

My name is John and im new to the forums. I have been a part of grandamgt.com for almost 5 years now (still owning a grand am) and I am looking for my next car. After looking around I decided I wanted to get a GTO. As of right now im planning on saving my money until next January and put a nice down payment on an 2005 GTO. (Probably my best bet for my budget and whatnot) Im really digging the impulse blue color but seem hard to come by. But anyway I just wanted to say hello to everyone and help steer me in the right direction for a new GTO.

Welcome John.
You will not be disapointed. No matter what all the whiners say.

Looks like we have the same taste in cars John... I traded in an '02 Grand Am GT (which I loved... but then again, it was my first car so I would have loved it no matter what) for a GTO back in 2004. The GTO is obviously totally different, but I honestly don't prefer a single thing about my Grand Am over the Goat. You're making a good decision!

Don't wait. Get it now. Just brown bag it for the next year, that'll cover your payments.

As of right now I see alot of 2005 GTO's with low miles for around 22k. This is probably what I will be getting one year from now. Do you guys except to see much of a drop in price between now and next year?

They're already dirt cheap for the most part. With the new camaro comming out the demand for these cars will probably decrease even further. The only way I can see a price increase by january of next year, is if when the new G8 comes out people realize how nice the aussies make em.

P.S. Don't take the midnight blue please, they are hard enough to find now.=) Welcome to the forum
