Just another car enthusiast here joining up for a good read. I actually own a 2002 Z28 with a mild heads and cam setup, not a GTO, but we're a GM family. My dad owns a 68 and 04 GTO, my brother owns an 02 and 94 Z28, I own an 02 Z28 and 88 Formula, and one of my other brothers owns an 85 Trans Am.

Thanks, guys. I'm from Middlefield (between Meriden and Middletown). I'm not sure what GONE is, but I would assume a local GTO club of some sort. He used to be part of all the clubs and went to all the car shows, but ever since my brothers and I got into cars and drag racing 7-8 years ago, he prefers to spend the day with us at the track or cruising (in his 04) as opposed to at a regular car show. We do usually hit up the Burger King Mopar show on the Berlin Turnpike on Saturday nights, though, and once in a while a random Sunday show.
