CincyGoat - Welcome to the Heard...Nothing at all wrong with the 04 GTO's and they are a tad less expensive. You can always Mod. them down the line to get the HP you are looking for. Good luck with the hunt...

Welcome to the forum. I have an 04 goat and if you're looking to mod, it'll be a little less expensive and there are more parts available for the LS1. You can't go wrong either way you plus you can also convert the 04 appearance to that of of an 05/06 by purchasing the hood and/or bumper and convert the exhaust.
