Hey...

Hey, how's it going guys. My name's Anel(from bosnia) and I'm looking into buying a GTO soon. I have a 01 Mustang right now which is going to be my project car, but I fell in love with the GTO's. I just have one question, what's the biggest differences between the 05 and the 06? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum choppa.

Biggest difference(s)? hmmmmmm...... They are all minor, but IMO.... the tail light lenses or perhaps the illuminated buttons on the steering wheel or the color choice maybe.

So the 05 steering wheel buttons don't illuminate at all on the 05? Thanks for the welcome, too.

That is correct. They do not illuminate on the 04's either, just the 06's.

Choppa - Welcome to the family. Think the 05-06 Diffs. have been covered. All in all I would say the 05-06's are pretty much the same car...Keep us posted on you search...

Thanks for the welcomes and info guys. I'll keep you all posted, but it's just hard to find a 05-06 GTO around here.

Welcome.

Two other differences. The 05's only came with 17" wheels and the 06 has a power door lock button next to the TC button on the console.
