Hey all, new from Jersey and could use some help...

Hey all. Just like to introduce myself and say hello and ask a favor. First though, I'm 18 and I'm from Jersey, I've been saving all my money up for the past 5 years for a car and my parents have decided to go 50/50 with me on a car. I have been looking around and my main interest is in the '06 Pontiac GTO. I found this forum and signed up because of course, like everyone else, once I get my car its getting modded. (First short throw, then intake, etc)

My favor is this: Does anyone have the ability to check this VIN # and give me the whole report on work done to the car, etc. Or could send me in the direction of someone who can?

Here is the VIN#:

6G2VX12U86L812149

Thanks again.

carfax.com is suppose to give you any history of the vehicle if reported. Warranty work etc.

Good Luck

Welcome to the Forum.....

Your best bet would be to go to a Pontiac dealer and have a service writer do a check on that vin. Any warranty work done on that car will be noted. If the car is under warranty, any work performed on it was most probably performed by a Pontiac dealer.

Well, I got the VIN checked out by a guy over at CobaltSS.net - the car looks great and I'm going to go for a test ride hopefully sometime between now and may. - I should be able to get a picture up when I go for the test ride.
