Hey Watsup

Hey everyone,

Thought I would come by and introduce myself to this forum. I am currently 16 years old and bought my own 06 Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged around 7 months ago. I am a proud owner, however, the goat has always been a part of my life. Ever since the day my paps drove me in his 69, I knew what my favorite car would be. Unfortunately, if i had bought the goat 7 months ago, my insurance would basically...how do i say this, basically send an insurance agent every month and pretty much rob my parents and my money haha So i went with the balt...evn though I am only getting "raped" lol. So anywayz, I am here to learn more about the Goat. I have a deal with my parents that if get into UCLA (srry USC guys...i luv ur football team tho) that they will buy me a 06 Goat. Problem is is that it will happen in around a year and a half..which feels like forever. So my question is, what are the chances of me being able to get a brand new 06 goat in the year 2007-08? or maybe the chances of getting a cert-pre owned with low miles frm the dealership or from the forum?

Ok people, nice getting to know you, looking forward to talking to everyone...later

I think your chances will be decent to pick up a new 06 early in 07.
There are still lots of them at the dealerships...You just won't be
able to be real picky as to color/interior combo. However, later in
2007 I think they will be all gone. But all is not lost because,
I'm sure you will be able to find very low mileage, one owner GTO's in
2008. There are lots of people that just don't drive them tham much,
like myself (Mine won't be for sale though, so don't get any ideas! ),
and some will inevitably put them up for sale. Case in point is a recent
thread here on the forum about an 04/05(?) which was purchased
with 403 miles on it! My 06 has 950 and I don't drive it that much
(I know, I know....But I sure have fun when I do!). Just my .02,
as we say...Hope it helps. Good luck and enjoy the forum.
