Hello all! I've owned the goat for a year now. I used to own a 90 tarus sho for 12 yrs (dad bought it new). Loved all muscle cars especially mopar growing up. Fell in love with the challenger prototype and decided to make that my next car. The sho started to nickel and dime me and I couldn't wait for dodge to decide when to start production so I started looking around. One sun. I noticed a pair of left over gtos in a local delership ad. Now I've been a San Diego Charger fan since 1978 and the 2006 season was the best chance for a super bowl run in years, of course I'm just waiting for the big let down and sure enough, that sun against the pats, they blew it. I was devastated and proceeded to get drunk. Next thing I know I wake up at 4 a.m. and as everthing starts to come back to me, the loss hits me and I'm thinking I have to do something to get my mind off this. So the next morning I go to the dealership and park next to the impulse blue 6-speed. Salesman comes out to ask if I need help. I want to turn that into that. Would you like to test drive? No need. When do you want to pick it up? What time is it? 3 hrs later I'm transfering stuff out of the sho and into the goat and its been the best form of therapy I could have asked for ever since!
Welcome Wombat!
Great story. Glad you were able to find the cure for what ailes you.
Being in Lancaster, I hope you would consider hob knobbing with some fellow herders.
There are a buch of us on here that are members of the Susquehanna Valley GTO Tigers, and would certainly welcome another goat nut to the herd. Click on the link in my sig to our club website, and check us out.
If you are free on Sunday, I would like to invite you to our first 2008 club meeting. You can contact me or Judge to find out more. Judge is in your neck of the woods, so maybe you can hitch a ride.
Russ
