Good to hear. Finally got your parts in huh? How did the installation go? How much better is your breaking? Next comes the break pads.

greetings, install no problem, driver side disc a little stubborn. a little liquid persuasion and waiting. i will put new pads on rear next weekend, paint as explained in post. bleed all next time. i went thru almost a quart of brake fluid, with a vacuum pump bleeder pedal still a little spongy? i don't know why. went out to burnish pad/rotors, brakes were hotter than h*ll. then driverside started.. tic,tic,tic....? took caliper off look did not see anything, weird, put back together no problem since, strange. don't know how much better braking is havn't really mammerjammered then yet. i did it for the looks w/better braking. needed new pads anyway old rotors look like some hairline cracks. so upgrade i guess about same money as a shop doing a regular brake job. the madness will continue. take care see ya later Mark G.

Z06 Calipers?

I know that the RA6GTO.com website lists Z06 calipers for the GTO. I work for a parts store and I might be able to get my hands on a set, but my question is would I have to get a custom mounting bracket for the caliper? and would I need a bigger/smaller/different rotor? I could probably contact BAER and/or look up a custom rotor, but I'm just wondering how easy a mod this would be.

Only asking cause the Z06 has 6 pistons calipers up front and 4 piston rears.. sounds like a nice grip to me Might help on the 163-0 run...

I think some of the more serious track guys might appreciate this info..
