Wanted - 67 4 speed console

I'm looking to convert my 3 speed automatic to a manual and am looking for a clean 67 console. I've been searching eBay but thought I'd search some forums. If you have one please let me know. . . .thx. . .Chris

Welcome to the forums.
I know ThePartsPlaceInc.com is working on reproduction units and they should be ready soon. They may even have them now, give them a call.

Thanks for the info. I called them and they are working on a 65/66 and told me they have nothing on the horizon for a 67. They have used ones but have no pictures and said they can't send me one (which I found a bit odd). Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have nothing but good things to say about the guys at The Parts Place, if they have consoles I would trust their opinions on the condition. I ordered a set of refurbished beltline moldings and vinyl top moldings from them and the pieces were in better condition than they described.

Consoles can be restored to have a new appearence, even cracks and breaks are repairable and there are several people who can re-chrome the tops.

They ARE awesome! I`m on like the 4th rear bumper from them, not their fault that they are coming damaged, they package them up sweet, just UPS must be bouncing them off the ends of the box or whatever. The Parts Place Inc steps up to the plate every time and they just sent out another 5th bumper I should have today. If this one is damaged too, I might make up a set of braces to wrap around the ends of the bumper and bolt to the attaching holes to keep the outer corners from cracking like they all have. But yea, their customer service is incredible, the best I`ve seen!

Thanks for the tips. The guy did say that if I didn't like it I could send it back but since I have never dealt with them I was unsure. I would not think rechroming is cheap and if they are already asking close to $800 for it and then I have to recrome it will make it more than I want to pay. I really would like to see before I buy but from your feedback it seems I should roll the dice. . . .thx again.
