2004 M6 GTO blk/blk with many mods Louisville KY

The car is a 2004 blk/blk M6 with 17,000 miles(actually less, but I am continuing to drive it). I purchased the car 1 month 1200 miles ago with the intent of using it for my work car. I've tried, and wanted it to work out, but the 6-spd just isn't practical for me with work and I will need to keep my Audi. I travel 3 states in sales. Plus, with all the s*%t that I need to bring with me for work, the GTO does't have as much space as I would like.
I also thought about replacing my Ferrari with it and have it as my toy. I am torn between the power, comfort, AC and modern conveniences of the GTO and the raw pleasure and fun I get from a 30 yr old Ferrari that has no comfort conveniences, many flaws and always seems to have a bit of a drip.
So I am putting them both on the market and whichever sells first, I will keep the other.

I am asking $23,500 for the GTO.

The car was first purchased in 1/04
Mods on the GTO done in 7/04 with @10k miles:
SLP LS1 H/C package with cam #51013 576/571 234/228 lobe 113
SLP timing chain and heavy duty oil pump
SLP MAF
Comp Cams lifters and roller rockers with new push rods and head bolts
FAST LSX intake and throttle body
Borla stainless cat back exhaust
K&N filter
NGK plugs with MSD wires and skip shift eliminator
Spec 3 clutch and aluminum flywheel
BMR 3.5" aluminum driveshaft(brand new, BMR gave me exchange for some $ and their 3" steel which had vibration problems)
BMR aluminum skid plate
BMR strut tower brace
BMR sub frame connectors
Also comes with a Diablosport Predator
Without labor, the go fast mods would be well over $7000
Even with the mods, the car gets 25 mpg at 75 mph in 6th. While around town and enjoying it...don't ask.

Stereo is a Pioneer AVH p7500 ($2000)
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...986436,00.html

JL Audio 300/4 amp
Orbital Battery
Viper alarm with remote pager. The OEM alarm also works, which is what I use.
The tires are almost new(1200 miles) OEM BF Goodrich. They were brand new when I got it.

Whats wrong:
There is a scratch on the silver trim piece that is in the center of the dash around the AC,stereo etc....
The previous owner pulled the tunk floor carpet and put down Dynamat and installed a sub in the spare wheel well. I removed the sub but do not have the spare($65) or the OEM trunk mat.I have the sides and back trunk carpet. I left the wiring for the sub into the trunk in case the next owner is into loud thumping music.
The ashtray? on the rear of the center console below the rear vents is missing the flip door and has scratches there. It is visible only in the back seats.
No original parts come with the car.

The car can be inspected at my house in Louisville KY. I have a garage lift so a full inspection is welcome.
I have the title in hand and own the car free and clear. No payoffs, leases etc...

If you are interested in the Ferrari. It is the '76 308 GT4 in my albums and the price is $19,000. All the other cars are past toys owned so they are not for sale, just collecting dust in my online album.
PM me or contact me on my cell at 502-494-6857 between 8am-10:30pm EST
If I don't answer, leave a message and I will get back to you.
Doug

If you are interested in the car, please make sure you have all finances in order before you ask a ton of questions or make any offers. It is a big waste of time for both parties to come to an agreement and then have the deal go bad because of lack of finances.

For anyone that has expressed interest, I now have the title in hand free and clear. No loans, leases etc...

Also
I would be interested in a trade for a 4x4 ext.cab pickup.

<-----kicks himself

You don't know how bad I want to click "Buy It Now"..

But alas, I have three cars I need to sell before I consider making another purchase.

BTW, that is quite a nice (former) stable of vehicles you have. Which one has been your favorite?

No problem. Car didn't sell tonight so I need to decide if I should run this again or put up the Ferrari. I keep driving this car and right now I am torn between this and the F-car. Modern convenience with power vs. raw fun with no frills.
As to my favorite? I still have a list of want to own so I never get too attached. I know I will have some regrets someday when certain cars are huge $$$ and I sold mine. They have all been great fun and I like them all for different reasons.

I had to get away from the computer for the last 3 minutes of the auction. My index finger was begging me to click that button.

Anyway, enough of the coulda shoulda woulda talk. Good luck in selling your GTO. If it were me, I'd keep the Ferrari just because it's not something you see everyday and is, to me anyway, quite a work of art.

BTW, if you happen to be interested in a Scion Xb, which is great for traveling (32 mpg hwy and lots of room), or an '85 Corvette 350 crank hp/425 tq, let me know.

(a little shamelss self-promotion - no hijacking intended).

EBAY generated quite a few offers of which some were accepted but then were never followed with a deposit. Price is now $21,900 which was the lowest accepted offer.
If you are planning to offer $18-$20k, don't bother because I can tell you right now that it won't be accepted.

Put the Ferrari up for sale. Magnum PI was cancelled 20 years ago.
