4 speed manual tranny 67 gto, were?? HELP??

Hi guys I am new to the forum, should have joined a lot sooner. But I really need help on this.

I own a 1967 GTO with a Pontiac 455ci and a 4 speed manual transmission. I recently destroyed the 3rd gear and I have no idea were to find a replacement part. I have looked on the internet with the tranny's part number and no luck, I've gone to junkyards with the transimssion on my hand and no luck, I am runnin out of options any help will be extremely, higly appreciated!

The part number for the transmission is: 3088330

It has another number on the side: 3885010

and another one: P7AO5

thanks in advance

tbtrans.com is where I went. Fast shipping and great service. They have everything you need, and great prices, too.

Another good source has been "The Gear Box" in Richmond, VA. They can get or HAVE Muncie parts for just about all of them.

when you get it fixed make sure you check your pilot bearing. if those get loose 3rd gear is stressed.

Garage
Tell your wife that it "unfixable" and get a TKO 600 5 speed. You'll love it.
