Distributor gear

Any one know if a stock gear for 1970 is ok to use with Crane ram air 4 Cam? I purchased the cam in 1983 and do not remember if I needed to purchase a different gear for it ?

If the cam and the distributor are correct for the block, then you shouldn`t need to change it. Unless the cam specifically requires a bronze gear or something, you should be alright.
