i have seen a 65 lemans that had a 326 with a 65 gto tripower on it so yes the gto intake will fit and so will the heads but if you use pre 64 heads you got to use pre 64 intake but if you use 65 up heads you got to use 65 and up intake, thay changed the intake to head bolt pattern after 64 but i would kinda like to put a 67 to 70 intake on my 326, 67 gto single 4v intake was based on a nascar sd intake and made the same power has a 66 tripower and i would like to use 1965 single 4v 325 hp heads and a gto cam. thanks to pontiac makeing the blocks the same it aint had to doctor thare v8s up

You need to look at another A-body car with a manual trans and see how the pedals go. That's the BEST way. Any '64-72 A body (Skylark, F-85, Tempest, Chevelle, etc.) will do. A '65 or '66 tripower will bolt right on to your 326 and really wake it up. A friend of mine the same set up back in the day and surprised a lot of people. I have run GTO's over the years with single 4bbl's, dual 4bbls, and tri-power. Tripower is my favorite: easy to tune, good fuel mileage, good throttle response, and much more power than a Q-jet. Good luck with your project. (I would convert it to a stick if I were you!)
