You can reuse the master cylinder and proportioning valve, do you need a vacuum booster? I changed my 67 from 4 wheel drum to 4 wheel disc and I have a power booster and master cylinder that I was going to place on ebay.

While we are talking about brake conversions, what do you all think about changing my '66 from 4 drum to 4 disc? It was not originally boosted either, plus the single master cylinder would become dual.

I ask in terms of value, aesthetics, and overall "sin" factor for changing stock.

My reasons are safety and improved braking performance.
