Is the fuel sending unit for a GTO/lemans without A/C, be used on a car with a/c (the differance is a vent tube return line on the a/c car) or is there a modification that can be done to replace my broken unit.

I see fuel sending unit`s on e-bay, but non have the return or vent line. If you needed it, you could drill a hole in the new sending unit and weld/appoxy a tube through the sending unit to act as a vent/return tube.
Or replace the fuel pump to one that doesn`t have a return/vent line.
