Congrats to the SVGTO winners and taking 3rd place in the club award. Carlisle's focus might have been on the Impala's 50th anniversary and their club took home 1st place... but consider CCGTO and SVGTO took home the other 2 club award's along SVGTO having the peoples choice award winning YJ goat... even the kid who won the model contest did it with an 04 GTO model painted IBM... I'd say the day was dominated by GTO's!
Attached are the CCGTO 04~06 class winners. I put in the full 06 class winners because it was a BOM sweep with the modest Sandu taking 2nd. CCGTO also had a 3rd place in the 04 class and one of the Burg crew that rolled in with us took 2nd in the 05 class. Even the black G8 GT that ran caboose on our train up took home a 3rd place in the Grand Prix class... they were a little short sighted and didn't have a G8 class..... (Russ might have won this class if he wasn't driving around in his during the judging time period... I voted for ya... twice).

I appreciate the support Red, but I wasn't driving it around. When I saw you was the only time I had moved the car since getting there Saturday morning. I was coming back over from Pypes. I had taken the car over there to let them look at it, as they have asked me if they could use my car as a development mule for their G8 exhaust system. I get a free exhaust out of it, so my answer was, Hell Yes!
Hehehe!

Only if you count false starts. Dave won against both club members, I cannot totally recall but I think a track regular (with extreme modifications) may have beat him straight up. I would hardly of called it a fair race since the Tiger is not all modded out.
I saw a `66 GTO signed by Jim Wagner at a local show over the weekend. The guys with the car just could not emphasise enough how much different a Nation even is vs a local type show. They said they had a great conversation with Jim and got him to sign their car. Sweet deal!
Jim is a real personable guy. He spends time chatting without rushing everyone who stops by and talks with him. I had the pleasure of spending quite a bit of time with him in Carlisle and in Saratoga. Here a few pics of him signing my car and accepting one of our club T-shirts. I placed a clear bra over both of his signatures to preserve them.
Here is a couple of pictures of the GeeTO Tiger in the Concourse room at the 08' Nationals with our club's window clingy in the passengers side window wing.
Dave Anderson Placed it there. Everywhere the Tiger goes our window clingy is there.
