Hmm.. I'm guessing something is wrong here, that is literally impossible. I ran into a guy at a car meet couple weeks ago with a GTO500 SS (super snake)
He explained to me that He got the shelby GT500 for about 70k itself, Then a year later he Spend a little over 30k for the Super snake package. You give it in to shelby and they transfer your car into it. The brakes alone are over 5grand. Then he exlpained that this is nothing compared to the gt500 kr (king of the road). My numbers may not be completely right, but its definitly close. The gt500 KR is available in a 645hp package with warranty, and a 745 package without warrantty. The super snake above was said to be over 620hp by shelby. If all this is true then the KR cannot be anywhere in that price range. I'm considering the KR 740hp package being that much?? that would be ridiculous. Is the KR even going to come in a "package"? Would like to get some other opinions on this.

Uhhh I must be missing something, help me out. A Ford GT500 MSRP is what $42,000ish and with the KR you get 40 just 40 more HP and better brakes, probly suspension, and of course some neat graphics and it is nearly $80K. I guess Ford is smart for targeting the people that have more money than brains. Hell some smart catt just have to put on some Ford Racing stuff on his GT500 and still come out ahead with warranty. Also I guess I missed the collectable part too huh?

I will be meeting Jim Wangers this summer, I plan on him signing my GTO in various places. I am figuring the car as it is now is worth 100K with the SAP, his signature on it should double the value. Whats say 200K?

IMO if it had more Caroll Shelby in it than Ford, it would look better. You know just look at the old KR's and Shelbys they did not look like regular Mustangs. Caroll Shelby is a great guy and all but Ford needs to quit milking this mans name just to make a dollor.

YES. Jim Wangers and Dave Anderson will be at the ALL GM Nationals in June. Both need a ride from the airport to their Hotel or the Fairgrounds. I have volunteered to chauffeur both. Both in my car at one time.... Chance of a life time. This is the plan as of now.
Dave Anderson will be racing his 66 GEETO Tiger and has offered a challenge to any 3 of our club members to race him. I won't be one LOL.
The GEETO Tiger will be on display at our tent all weekend. The SVGTO Tigers are hosting the Tiger. It will be a memorable event.
