Being a transformers nut growing up, I was just doing some searches on the new movie coming out, and I found a pool of photo's on Flickr on the movie and some behind the scenes pics. Looks like a GTO *may* be in the movie.

How awesome would it be if one of the Autobots was a GTO?!

I do not think the GTO is going to be a transformer. The yellow I thought maybe Bumblebee, but they are going with a 2008 camaro to fill that role.

They also have the Solstice GXP in the mix playing Jazz.


this is most certainely a GM sponsored movie.

If the GTO is a transformer then there is nothing out there to proveit. although the spy cameras may not even know what the car is. We GTO's are still not a commonly known car.


I am stoked that GTO will be in this movie. To my knowledge Stealth as the only other movie and that was for only like 10 seconds.

"Deja-Vu" has a GTO in it too. It gets jumped across a center divider.

I know there's no GTO in the Transformer movie as a Transformer... Just saw the one as "background" traffic, and the poor demise of a yellowjacket getting cut in half!
