it was originally purple and painted bom?
why lol???????? orange and purple
at least they did a good job, cant tell from the pics
it was originally purple.
i dont see why you would spend all that money, and go through all that trouble to paint it and put the 05-06 stuff on it.

He probably pulled the car due to all the ridicule he was receiving through his e-bay messaging.

Are the driver's and passenger's door black on the inside? Shouldn't they be purple too? Am I not seeing correctly?

I think you are seeing it right, they look black to me, and yes, on a Cosmo, they would have been purple.

Here's an interesting observation. If you look at the data plate pic, it shows that the color was originally Cosmo (970L), sooooooo, the interior is correct, but the exterior was repainted, and the interior door panels were replaced. Hmmmm?
Also this: Why is this car a salvage title??? The damage shown on the left front fender would not be enough to total the car, sooooooo, what else happened to it? Hmmmmm?

Someone went through a lot of trouble to repaint, cause the door jambs, radiator core support, underhood, inner front fenders, inside the trunk, everything is painted!

my guess is that the car is a frankenstein, and the VIN tag does not match the car. Theft or flood or something. I remember there was a repo on ebay just north of here, engine and trans were pulled before they could repo it. whoever did the job even went through the trouble to ensure the connectors were not damaged.
