Road Trip to Memphis....where should I go?

Just wanted to ask my fellow GTO owners that live in or have been to Memphis where are some good restaurants, bars, and sites to see. The wife and I are taking a road trip in the goat in July and I wanna make sure I hit the highlights (of course I'm going to Graceland lol). Thanks in advance for the 411.

Jon,
Beale Street in downtown is filled with neat clubs, bars and restaurants. The street is closed to traffic at night on weekends giving it a New Orleans feel.

The Rendevous is supposedly the best BBQ joint in town and is normally high on the list of places to eat.

If you are into gambling, the casino's in Tunica aren't bad. It isn't Las Vegas, but you can have a good time down there.

Enjoy your trip.

If you like live music, then Memphis is the place to be. It will be hot in July, but walk down Beale street and there's a beer cart out in front of each bar. Definitely go to Rendezvous for ribs, but then go to Blues City on Beale or Corky's. Best ribs anwhere. Have a good time.
