when I compare the back of the 64-65 switch to the 66-67 switch, it looks like the pigtail would be the same, except there is an extra wire \contact on the switch \ pigtail for AC which you would just not use in a Non AC car. So if you could, please photograph the back of your switch so I can confirm if I have the right pigtail for you. thanks

Spiker, I don't mean to highjack your post but I too have the same dilemma. Just this past Friday I have talked to Painless wiring, American Autowire and M&H Wiring (they supply the harnesses to Ames) for this pigtail. In fact, when I called Ames...they stated they get at least a call a week for this pigtail. All the companies I spoke to said they get calls all the time for this but they don't sell just the pigtail. I wish I could get my hands on a good plastic connector as I would mold this and repop it myself.

okay, so photo the switch and we can go from there. Thanks. My switches are all loose and I am not sure which is for what year, so your photo will tell me. Thanks

so it seems that the back of the 64-65 and the 66-67 tempest ignition switches are the same, all 6 connectors match. When they had AC, there would have been an extra connector (a ground actually) in addition to the one ground connector already on the 6 connector back. So one could take a non AC switch and use it on an AC car if they jumped the one ground into the second ground wire on the AC pigtail.
now the 6 connector (non AC) pigtail will fit all 4 switches, it fits on fine and does not interfere with that 7th AC connector. There would just not be any wiring going to that 2nd ground connector on the 7 terminal AC switch.
That pigtail shown is the only one I have but if lil65gto can repop it for all of us, I would consider loaning it or maybe getting a digital scan? so it could be 3D printed. PM me if you have any ideas. Hope this helps.

I acquired a nice switch connector Monday night from a '64 GTO. Currently waiting on materials to make the rubber mold (I'm old school...no 3d printer here). Probably going to wish I had a 3d printer before I'm all said and done. I've cast and poured a ton of items over the years but this one is going to be a challenge as I'm trying to figure out how to cast all 6 of the electrical connector slots perfectly. I'll update with results.
