thanks Jet got it all hooked up and working fine, at crank i get around 11 volts now once the starter draws down, also harley mechanic across the street brought me over the male pigtail for it, he uses the same switches for his harley builds.

hey Jet, i have been looking for the post where you explained how that wire diagram for the switch i posted was incorrect. i am wiring the switch and wanted to make sure i had the wires on the right posts, also do you need to cut out the resistor wire and replace it to do this or just use as is since its only a triggering charge now. here is the link to the diagram, what wires are switched??

Yeah darn.. I know theres nuts holding them but I cant get my hands or tools in there to getem off. The previous owner painted them black and they look aweful.. I wanna pullem off and either get the paint off or replace/delete them. Know anyone that may know? lol
