If you can get more pics, I would appreciate them!
We just got back from a long winter hiatus and I haven't been on here in a long time.
I have begun disassembling my Caballero, but I don't have the body off the frame yet.
Engine is out and (now) spinning freely, but I am going to have someone else measure and refresh it for me.
I'd like to see some detailed photos of the rear seat and front seat side panels on that car; I am missing some of the metal trim parts.
I also would like to see what direction the "Century" script slants on all four door trim panels. I have 3 that lean one way and one that leans the other direction; one of these HAS to be wrong, but I can't tell which one is incorrect from any other photos I have found.
If that car has the original style headliner, a few pics of the header garnish moldings would also be appreciated.
Our trip was great!
We only got rained on once.
Had a nice time with a station wagon forum buddy in Victoria, B.C.
Olympian Washington was a pleasant surprise too!
Sorry I didn't reply sooner; been in Albuquerque getting an old car ready for shipment back to Michigan.
I'm going to restore this one; it's sort of a Holy Grail for wagon freaks like me.
It's a 1958 Buick Caballero. 4 door hardtop wagon, 364/300HP nailhead with a Dynaflow transmission. I'll send you a picture when I get back to my computer.
Julie and I are going to be on a Pacific coast cruise with another couple in May. We'll be sailing out of LA on May 13 and ending up in Vancouver on the 19th.
We will be in Astoria, OR on the 17th. Any suggestions for things to do/see near there?
