I think i will start a thread.I'm new on here and not good with comp.How do I start one.I took my motor and tran. out and getting them rebuilt now.They found a small hole in oil pan so i need to find new on.I'm restoring the car to 1968,NO mods.It wont be ez,I never worked on cars and I'm learning as I go.I do have friends who can help me and I'm going to join a GTO club soon.
Hey man, I know you have the 4wheel disc brake set up on your 68 by right stuff? How do you like them? Pleased with the performance, ease of installation? Did you have to make a lot of modification to install? Sorry I am asking so many questions, as you know I am deciding on brakes, and I am going back in forth should I go with a reasonable brand like right stuff, or pay a lot more for a name like wilwood.
I really like seeing ur cars story as u redid it.I'm just starting my 68 GTO.I'm first doing under the hood for this winter and I'll do the body next year.I'm not sure if I'm going to remove the nose to get the engine out or not.I dont know any thing about cars as far as working on them but this is a great car to learn on.I have alot of ppl here who can help me and know alot about cars so I'll do ok.
