er.... the alternator IS supposed to have power when the key is in the off position isn't it?
grrrrrrrrrr.......it seems that the only switched source (in the eng compt.) is the coil +,
now where am I going to get switched pwr for my elect choke?
thanks as always

At the fuse box down under the emergency brake pedal. Or at the horn relay. Both have been suggested in your other post. You need switched 12 volt power. Why not run the original style choke that operates off a heat activated spring in your intake manifold? They work great, and no sloppy wiring.

'cause I know if I take both carbs apart to merge them, it will end in disaster.
my horn relay has pwr all the time. as far as I can tell the coil is the only switched thing in the eng comp.
sigh

TK, run a wire thru one of the gromets...into the driver side under the dash. You can connect it to an SWITCHED source at the fuse panel....easy. E
