1966 GTO, Drip Rails

How do I safely reinstall the drip rails on the 1966 GTO? I have purchased a new pair from Ames.

HAVE A HELPER to support the middle/rear portion of the molding. MAKE sure the drip rail mounting surface is free of bumps and the drip channel is clear. START at the front and carefully place the TOP of the molding over the rail. Continue along, laying out the molding, top first. Push down vertically with a soft straight edge (1"x2" soft pine board, with a terry towel on it). Gently and lovingly "snap" the lower lip of the molding down over the bottom edge of the drip channel.....DO NOT use any glue, silicone, etc. GO slow it can be a PITA. Eric
