1969 gto 455 Ci

I was wondering if anyone knew whats kind of rear i should get for my 1969gto. right now it has a 2.56 peg leg. Im lookin for a posi i am lookin to run in the 11 12 seconds as a street legal car. it has forged pistol and a ram 4 cam and its borded to a 469 and has a aluminam intake manifold. Thanks so much for the help.

i found some rears on ebay going for 1600 dollars fully rebuilt im lookin at whats do you guys think?

What kind of rear end are they? 10 or 12 bolt? Ford 9" made to fit?

they are 12 bolt mustang rear wont fit im pretty sure

There are guys making Ford 9" rear ends with custom widths and mounts to fit it in almost any car.

Sorry to go off topic a little but I actually posted a question to see what kind of an exhaust someone had but specifically with a 455 motor (which is what I have). I'm looking to replace mine and looking for input. Thoughts?

Just get a nice GM 12 bolt posi rear and run 3.55 or 3.73 gears in it.....
