The AFB and Qjet have different mounting patterns. The AFB ks square bore like a Holley carb, both primary and secondary are the same size. The Qjet is spread bore with small primaries and huge secondaries. It wont bolt to your manifold, but you can swap a 67-72 intake on it or an aftermarket intake that will accept a Qjet. You can also use later 73-79 intakes, but they have EGR which isnt a problem, just a bit more complex and require a valley pan with a larger depression in them.

On "most" street motors, the factory cast iron intake will run with, or better than, aftermarket intakes - FWIW.
