3 Goats in a barn

I snapped these photos today that show that goodies are still out there. These are three '65 G.T.O.'s lined up in a row. I briefly met with the owner some time back and saw that the one on the right was a console automatic and i could see the louvered air cleaner on the engine. The middle one with no interior has the 4 speed hump. The one on the left with no interior musta been an auto as i don't recall seeing a 4 speed hump. I hope to meet with the owner again and spend a bit more time getting details and seeing if he might want to part with them. A rare find to be sure!

Run for your life.

Seriously though, good luck. Most guys who have cars like that sitting out in the open are... interesting individuals.

Garage
Hopefully there is enough left there to make one good GTO.

I'm with ibarbuckle here though and say at this point that unless one is a tri-power four speed that the expense to save these once proud warriors out ways their restored value. What a shame. There could be money to be made on parts though.....
