64 Marimba red post Mecom Huston auction

HI Folks, I have just joined and recently decided to try to buy myself a GTO which I have wanted since the 60's. Would prefer a 64 post car and I have my eye on one in the April 12 Mecom Huston auction, it's lot 120 which means it will sell around 2pm on Saturday and can be seen on their webpage. Marimba red/black 4 speed, auction site says complete nut and bolt restoration and mechanical rebuild in 2013 with PHS docs. It looks like is has manual steering and brakes.
The current owner doesn't seem to know anything about the history only that he bought it in California and it only has 95 miles since the rebuild.
The low milage and selling it so soon is a bit of a red flag for me.
Any chance some of you early GTO fans from California might know of this car, maybe where it was restored?
Thanks, Jay
