65 GTO rough diamond

got this gto roller pretty bare 389 4speed sport coupe for 1200 bucks.
i got phs papers on it stateing it a GTO and its options pretty cool but now for pics enjoy my pride and joy

The bare plan is to get it rolling and road worthy pretty is low on the list.
so a sbc350 was the first option if its the ending engine doubtfull but it is what it is. I picked up a rear window rear bumper 3 headlight buckets. and rear light esy for 350 and front bumper for 60. so its going hopeing to limp it to a cruzenight this weekend wish me luck thxs

I am like you in that I want to drive first and worry about pretty later. Hope you make it to cruze and good luck with the quest for parts.

$1200 is an old school price for what you got....excellent deal. I always liked the post coupe '64 and '65's...very solid cars. 'I like the idea of getting it on the road and fixing as you go....both of mine are unrestored (just repaired and maintainted). I've been having too much fun driving them the past 30 years to pull them apart and restore them!! Great score.......
