'66 GTO Firewall Insulation

Redoing a '66 GTO (not original) and am wondering if it would be better to use Dynamat (or similar product) or use a "stock" style insulation pad.

Planning of spraying the interior with either Lizardskin or Secondskin....

I used Dynamat for firewall and the floor for my '66 GTO restoration. It works very well for heat and sound insulation. I strongly considered using lizardskin for the floor insulation but couldn't get any firsthand information for its effectiveness. I really like the Dynamat but would be curious if you use the lizardskin to hear how you like it.

1966 TriPower, 4 spd, PHS documented.
