I need an antenna for my 67 gto hardtop. Ames and Performance Years sell them as made in China. Anyone know where I can buy the same part directly from china?

It's called a distribution network

Manufactures usually and typically sell through distributors, i.e. Ames, Performance Years, Year One, Etc.
The manufacturer focuses on making the product and the distributor focuses on making it readily available with warehousing, maintaining inventory, supporting a customer service department to actually take and fill the order.
