If I remember correctly GTOs were a dime a dozen in 72, my dad paid $1100 for my 67 in May of that year and it was sold for $850 a few years later.

It would be nice to drop a few K really quick on the Roadrunner, GTO, VW Bug, etc. today at those prices

I thought someone might clue in on the fact that this section of the classified ads contained the ad for the 66 GTO that I bought a few days later and have owned for over 42 years!

I found the generic "1967 Station Wagon" and the "1967 Lady Driven" most interesting.

In 1978 i bought a perfect body 67 GTO with a blown engine for $750. Sold it 3 years later running, for the same price.
