Drum to Disc Conversion Shouldn't have waited so long....

I just did a drum to disc conversion kit from summit racing on my 66 Leman's. What a difference it makes. Stops on a dime and and then some. I lived with the old drum brakes for 6 years they were okay however the front disc brakes make the Leman's feel like really light. I put in a kit that allowed me to keep my 14" Weld Wheels on the front, with a slight bit of modification the the caliper bracket. I included pics.

I did the same conversion on my GTO and kept all the original stuff to go with the car if I ever sell it down the road.
Once you get the pads seated adjust the proportioning valve until the rear brakes lock up under hard braking then back it off two clicks or so.
Play with it and when you get the car to squat under hard braking instead of the front diving you are there.
