Fair value on a '67 sprint 4 bbl 4 spd ragtop

Can anyone give me a ballpark figure on what you might pay for a '67 Lemans Sprint 215 horse, 4 speed (supp original drivetrain but of course not verifiable, early '67 model year production) convertible? I'd say nice driver condition, gold/wht top/parchment interior, console, saginaw 4 speed/hurst shifter, other than that looks like no options, not even ps or pb. Underside is pretty nice, no problem that I could see. can't be many of this option combo.

I realize most would scoff as it's a 6 banger but still, a poncho stick convertible is still awesome IMO.

Not scoffing. These cars with the original smaller engines are pretty rare as most were converted to bigger drive trains. I saw a car at a local show similar to what you describe last year. It was a 67 two door post car (not a convertible) six cylinder with a powerglide in very nice shape. It was for sale at $8000. I would expect a four speed convertible to go for more but it would depend on the condition and how much you are willing to spend.

I would say if it's solid and the price fits what you are willing to pay (as long as they aren't asking GTO prices) go for it. However, please leave it with the 6 and open the hood proudly when you show it. Personally, I love the 6 bangers because you never see them.

In my opinion a tempest with the rare high performance sprint option would be worth more than a standard lemans or tempest, being a convertible with a 4-speed adds value.

If the car has been restored or is in good original condition and needs nothing I would guess the value would be $20 to $25k.

If the car needs a complete restoration the value would fall between $5 to 10K.

Without pictures I would give you ballpark of $5 to $25k.

I had a sprint 6/4 speed firebird once. I ruined it with a v8 swap. Please don't change it...

I Love this car. I would place it in the low to mid to even high $20K range as long as it as is solid as it looks. Keep in mind late 70's Camaros and Fire Birds grab in the mid to low teens. Very cool in line six with awesome body lines. Please, please, please keep it that way!

After seeing the pictures, I would estimate $25 to $35k! Looks like an unmolested survivor.

I'm with 05 on this.....very nice car, very original, and very rare. It would steal the thunder from the GTO's at any show. You just don't see these cars....ever. Another thing, this car could be bought for 20-25k or so, be driven and enjoyed for years, and resold for the same or possibly much more. No way to lose on this one. I like it a bunch!
