forget trophies i like the 50/50's

Another big show and swap meet this weekend in the park, tons of great cars, gotta love Motown at the end of summer, big cruise every weekend. Bought the T-shirt and 50/50 ticket package early and they kept announcing the pot as it went up...300....600....1000. was ragging a buddy right before the drawing that bought the string before me, his ended in xxx283, and i told him it would be xxx284 just to piss him off....they had a little girl from the crowd come draw the # and ill be damned if she did not pull xxx284....total pot was 3600 so i walked away with 1750 after giving the girl a 50.00 for picking my #. last two shows i have won the 50/50, forget trophies....LOL.....

thanks guys...always try to give information and help freely, everything i have ever learned has been from someone else passing it forward.

Funny story....Ford guy comes up and looks at the 326 tags....then the 455 on the air cleaner, looks up and asks me what makes it a 455....i said its actually a 471 and the fist size holes in the block and a little extra stroke make it that. he proceeds to argue that, that "little" block and heads can not be 471 CC.....

Last week at the Dream cruise a guy asked which was it a 326 or a 455....told him it depends on whether my hood is open and how much he wants to race for....
