Front bumper

Need to know how to change the bolts in the ENDURA bumper on a 70 GTO, any advice???

Yes, there are bolts/studs that are made into cavities in the ENDURA bumper that are in need of replacement. It is what the brackets , small and large, mount too

uh oh ... bein a 68 69 guy I never realized the 70 mounted that way as the 70 endura I have
had no bumper to frame brackets when I got it ....
I will look at my spare 70 I have later today ....

did yours snap off ? or are they spinning ? they are probably carriage bolts buried in there...

hopefully some one has cut one apart b4 ...

sorry to hear about that issue .... ick ...



update ....... this lower bolt/stud ?

Yes on a 70 the bumper brackets, valance panel, fender, and core support filler all bolt to blots/studs pre fitted in to the ENDURA bumper.

Yes they are spinning, I can cut them off to do what i need but need so In site on replacing them, they look to be panel bonded in.
