fuel hose

the fuel fitting on my new carb sticks out , and I have a straight fitting going to a rubber fuel line, when the hose is on, it will be up against the upper radiator hose.
(no one has the right size 90 either................)
How big,if any,of a problem is this?
thanks as always

you should try to separate them as the heat will transfer to the fuel hose and could cause vapor lock. Another thing would be to insulate the fuel hose, but separation would be the best.

If you can't find the proper fitting, and the fuel line must touch the rad hose, secure a small piece of black foam pipe insulation (or the likes there of) to the fuel line for ;1) insulation from heat, and 2) as an anti chafing measure. Eric

I think the vendors sell the proper outlet line. It's a 90 degree bend to the driver's side. It needs to be there in order not to be "rigged". If you get the right line, you'll be glad you did.
