Gas coming out vent tube

I am sorry for such a basic question and yes I searched for an answer to no avail....

When I accelerate gas comes out my gas cap or vent tube. The gas tank design is awful IMHO and I am wondering how best to fix.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Chris

is it an original tank with the baffles

do you have a non vented gas cap

hows the seal ?

aftermarket caps are usually junk and dont deal correctly

plug the vent tube and go for a drive

just things to think about

Non-original tank; vented; non-vented aftermarket Standard brand cap (but the cap appears to be sealing)
