Gas Tank Fuel Line Connections

On the Gas Tank Fuel line connections, there are two connection, One is supply and the other is return (?). As you look at the connections one is at 6 o'clock the the other is at 3 o'clock. Which one is the supply?

Thanks for the input.

Jim

I believe the 3 o'clock is the feed. Can you pull the whole housing apart and look?

Are they both the same size? The bigger one is the supply.
