Do you know who you sold it to??
Post up the vin # and if anyone searches the net for it the search engines should send them to this thread.

Find a Goat

Try a Google search of the VIN -- it might turn up in a "For Sale" ad somewhere.

If you still have the VIN, try the motor vehicle department in your state. If the car is still registered to someone you might get lucky.

If it's still in your name after 9 years, it isn't being driven. Either it was wrecked right after you sold it, or the new owner stuck it in storage. I would look up the guy you sold it to and go from there. Good luck. BTW, I have a friend who sold his first '65 GTO in the late 80's, regretted it, and bought his second '65 GTO in the '90's, and then sold (and regretted) it. His third time around, he had to buy a LeMans, as he could no longer afford a genuine GTO. My advice? Never sell!!!

Maybe it was taken overseas in a shipping container :worried:

Unless US Customs notes the vin and makes the info available that it was exported, it could be impossible to determine.

Check some international GTO clubs too.
