intake vaccuum

why are there 2 seperate connections on my intake manif for pcv?

The other one is for accesories, or not used and plugged. Did you look at that GM starter shim kit that inlinetube sells for $8.00? It's a great kit.

there is a plastic fitting that looks like an f to connect them to the pvc hose. i think its designed to balance the vacuum between the intake runners.

Freethinker is correct. Your PCV line goes to both fittings. There is a special nylon "Tee" that is unique to your car. The vendors have them ...it's not cheap for what it is. The '67 has a "dual plane" intake and you get PCV vacuum from both ports.
