Junk Yard Score!!

Scored a 70 Model Buick Skylark positrac rear end.
From what I can tell so far its a 8.2 with 3.08 gears. And a factory Auburn locker.


Now I could be wrong on some of this because Im just learning this GM stuff.


Plan is to clean it up paint it and bolt it in this weekend.

Orbit, that's great news. What you probably have is the factory GM limited slip...Auburn units are aftermarket, and lockers NEVER came as original equipment in these cars. 3.08 will be just about a perfect ratio for your car, and let you drive it without going broke. Easy on wear and tear, too.

Either way, $76 for the complete rear with drums is a good buy I think!
