leaky carb

hi, I have a '66 GTO with tri-power. When I started it last week, after sitting for a month, it was running rough. I then noticed gas pouring out of the front carb from around the pump shaft, and raw gas was also filling up the barrels. I've replaced the needle & seat, the gasket between the air horn and throttle body, and adjusted the float. The brass float is intact, no leaks. Now the problem is, if anything, getting worse. Could this actually be a fuel pump issue? Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Not a pump problem but a carb problem. Recheck the float, it may be bad. Be sure the needle and seat are installed proper and that it has the little gasket under it.
