And now we do the dance of joy!

Picked up the Goat with the new posi and 3.31 rear gearing. Drove it 1.5 hours home to Southborough. It's a TOTALLY DIFFERENT MACHINE. Did great at 65 mph for duration of the trip. I waited YEARS to make this switch and I am so happy with the results. Pete Hany at CT Axles did the work, and I would totally recommend him. I'll update on how it seems to do over the next couple months, but for now I am one happy camper!https://www.gtoforum.com/images/smilies/party.gif

Cool. What gears were in it before? I went from a 2.78 to a 3.36 rear on my Lemans this summer. I'm trying like hell to get it on the road before the cold weather comes.

I dropped from 4.10 to 3.31. Huge difference, engine temp was down and I was able to keep up with traffic enough that I wasn't worried I was going to blow the engine or get run off the road by the trucks blowing by me. Drove it a little over an hour from Ellington to Southborough and it great the whole way.
