oil pump

does the oil pump to block gasket need to be "glued"?

Use grade 8 bolts and red locktite on the bolts torque to 30 ft lbs. I thought you already put your pan on?

Agreed, Gr. 8s, 30 lbs. No need for LocTite, though.

If one is "insecure" about the pump staying in place, you could use studs and NyLock nuts. We don't see an issue here with bolts coming loose.

Might wanna consider tack welding the screen to the pump after checking clearance though, have seen a couple fall off the pump.

only tack weld if ball check is out of pump body. better to use tool to install screen into pump body. Tool sold by Mellings. Blue loctite or safety wire when racing.
